Biographical history
The Sentence family lived at Banff, Alberta, Canada. George Harry Sentance, 1872-1954, and Jessie Dodd Sentance, d.1981, came to Banff in 1914. George Sentance had come to Canada from England in 1904, possibly with his parents, John Finn Sentance, 1841-1926, and Elizabeth Sentance, 1841-1926, who lived at Banff at the time of their deaths. George Sentance initially drove a tally-ho for Brewster Transport, then was employed by the Federal Government until 1951.

Fonds consists of unidentified glass negatives attributed to the Sentance family, ca.1905?. Includes photographs of people, especially children, and scenes, some at Bankhead, Alberta.
