History

The Okotoks Ladies Auxiliary No. 163 was formed in 1947 as an auxiliary to the Okotoks branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. The auxiliary participated in fund-raising projects to benefit the community as well as support the branch and Legion projects. The Okotoks Ladies Auxiliary folded in 1990 when the Okotoks Legion disbanded. The Turner Valley Branch No. 78 of the Royal Canadian Legion now encompasses the Okotoks area.
