Administrative history
Red Coat Puppet Theatre was established in Calgary, Alberta to provide an educational experience for young people in Alberta regarding the history of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Among the founders were George and Yvonne Morley and Lee Tymchuk. The group built their own sets, researched and wrote the scripts and music, and travelled throughout Alberta entertaining and educating many students.
