The fonds consists of records relating to the management of the Buffalo Lakes Community Society from 1946-1999. The fonds is divided into seven series based on type and content: Minutes, Financial Records, Annual Returns, Legal Papers, Insurance Records, Correspondence, and Photographs.
Most of the records were not arranged upon arrival and an order by date and record type has been established by the archivist.

The fonds consist of a collection of historical photographs, maps personal papers, and business receipts which were gathered for the publication. Many of the illustrations in Grooming the Grizzly were returned to their owners, and are therefore not in this collection; on the other hand historical documents which were never incorporated into the publication, are part of this collection.

The fonds consists of records belonging to Charlie Moore and his wife Winnie (DeBolt) Moore who homesteaded the land that the hamlet of DeBolt occupies and were very involved in the early community.

Fonds consists of organizational records including photographs, brochures, correspondence and other documents which are divided into five series [see General Notes]. Content pertains to the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies, including the organization's history, members and staff, trail rides and other events, publications and advertising, finances, and administration.

The fonds consists of legal documents such as By-laws, certificate and insurance policies; minutes of executive and annual meetings; annual reports from the nurse, the executive and the treasurer; correspondence and financial records for the building of the nurse’s cottage, as well as the society and the services rendered.

The fonds consists of records relating to the business and activities of the Grande Prairie Women’s Institute, dating primarily from 1924 to 1999. These records include meeting minutes, membership lists, lists of officers and directors, financial records, meeting program booklets, a maternity waiting room register, scrapbooks of the branch’s history and activities, a guest book for the 60th Anniversary, and Alberta Women’s Institute history booklets .

The fonds is arranged in six series based on record type: Minute books, Finances, Program booklets, Maternity Waiting Room, Scrapbooks, and Women’s Institute History. Within the series, the records are arranged chronologically.

The fonds consists of one minute book detailing the decisions made by the Womans Association for the years 1932-1933, their constitution and membership list, and accounts from 1936.

The fonds consists of a history of music festivals in Grande Prairie, district, financial statements, Festival programs, Festival Grand Concert programs and a copy of the Alberta Music Festival Association annual report for 1985.
