The Olympic Hall of Fame and Museum in Calgary was founded in 1987. It is an operation of the Calgary Olympic Development Association.

The Olympic Hall of Fame and Museum poster collection includes many posters produced by various agencies to commemorate the 1988 Olympic Winter Games; posters commemorating other Olympic host cities; and posters produced to commemorate and publicize many different winter championship athletic events held in Calgary.
