Biographical history
Nels Ervine Bell was born March 1, 1880. He lived in various places in western Alberta before moving to Edson in 1930. He owned Moose Creek Lumber Company. When he retired from the lumber business, he left money to the town of Edson to start a public library. He died on February 15, 1979
