File contains correspondence related to the transfer of Jim Muir's Everest 1982 records to the Banff Centre's Mountain Culture department. Includes printed emails between members of the department with the Jim Muir Estate regarding the transfer of the records and licensing requests for the video portion of the collection. Also includes some annotated descriptions of the collection's original box contents, an audio cassette of Muir describing the contents to then Mountain Culture director Bernadette McDonald, a typed copy of expedition base camp manager Peter Spear's "Everest Expedition Diary" and a copy of Travel Times' "Everest Special Souvenir Edition".
