History

Beryl Loiselle was one of three daughters born to Lot Scott Willey and his wife Jettie (Day). Beryl was a school teacher before her marriage to Joseph Denis Loiselle in 1938. They raised five children: Denise, Denis, Wayne, Gordon and Laurel. After WW II, when necessity opened the door for married women to teach, Beryl returned to teaching. In 1953 the family purchased her parents farm where they lived until 1969 when they moved to Athabasca.
