Consists of the records created by both the Civil Service Association and the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees from the inception of the CSA in 1919 to its present day incarnation. The fonds is made up of minutes of meetings, bulletins, labour relations files, negotiations, classification appeals, and affiliations relating to the running of AUPE as a whole and to individual branch operations. The fonds also contains material relating to constitutional matters and by-laws, administration, membership services, committees, publicity and annual conventions of both the CSA and AUPE. The fonds is divided into the Civil Service Association sous-fonds and the following series: labour relations; classification appeals; negotiations; CSA material and; public affairs.

Fonds consists of textual material and photographs prepared by AUPE, Local 52 to be exhibited in the Mainbrace support staff club and the Jack Simpson Gymnasium for the April 1, 1991 anniversary celebration. As well, issues of the newsletters "The Given, AUPE Local 52 Support Staff Newsletter" (1987-1990) and "University of Calgary Local 52 AUPE Newsletter" (1984-2003).

The fonds consists of operational records of the AUMA including annual reports and convention proceedings dating from 1911 to 2003, working drafts of convention proceedings dating from 1960 to 1978, Board of Directors minutes dating from 1977 -- 2003, membership ledgers dating from 1914 to 1974, scrapbooks documenting events of the AUMA dating from the 1960s to 1970s, and photographs of members and events of the AUMA.

Fonds consists of copied photographs which date from 1912-1923, predominantly 1912-1914, that depict various people, buildings, and views in Athabasca Landing, House River, Vermilion, and Edmonton, Alberta, including boats, railway cars, sawmills, oil field equipment, machinery and workers, log cabins, the Vermilion Baptist church, road and building construction, and Kelsey family members. Fonds also includes two postcards and a copied newspaper clipping about a type of crude oil engine.

Fonds consists of the personal records of Alfred W. Farmilo, mainly related to his involvement in various labour organizations, official boards, and associations, and includes minutes, correspondence, submissions, speeches, reference material, certificates, receipts, newspaper clippings, financial records, member lists, souvenirs, statistics, reports, pamphlets, posters, articles, scrapbooks, caricatures, journals, and photographs. The fonds has been arranged into the following series: Official Boards and Associations; Personal Papers; Speeches; Newspaper Clippings; Other; Reference Materials; Photographs.

The fonds consists of general and council minutes (1967-1979), local resolutions, and membership files of the Calgary branch; national and local commercial and film agreements (1960-1980s); resumes and photographs of local artists, and scripts for films and movies made in Calgary area (1973-1984); and minutes of the National Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
