<form><textarea wrap class=datatext cols=80 rows=10>Consists of several letters from Wetaskiwin MP Norman Jaques to Frank Thorn, Secretary of the Wetaskiwin Social Credit Constituency Association, as well as a letter to G. Gothard, President, one to N.D. MacEachern and F. Blackwell of the Canadian Legion Post 86 and one to Frank Thorn from the Social Credit Association of Canada. The correspondence covers such issues as: how to determine how Social Credit members should vote on resolutions brought before the House of Commons; problems with the CCF; ideas about the communist party; the communist infiltration of the Social Credit movement; the purported candidacy of Mr. Irvine for the Social Credit party; the Canadian Arab Friendship League; organizing meetings for Mr. Jaques in Alberta; statements made by Mr. Jaques about the Canadian Legion; the choice of Pat Webb as a delegate to the national Convention along with day to day operational and personal items. The folder also includes a note from the widow of Norman Jaques to Mrs. Thorn along with copies of speeches of condolence in the House of Commons and some of the telegrams received by Mrs. Jaques.</textarea></form>
