General note
Ian Robertson was a member of the Lovat Scout, a Scottish regiment, which trained in Jasper (1943-1944). After completing his training, he was sent to Europe for 6 months, then spent two years in Greece. He was de-mobilized in 1947. He married Jasper native Leila (Tim) Morris in 1951 in Stoke on Trent, England. They lived there for two years, and then returned to Canada in 1954.
