General note

Lewis Swift who was born in 1854 in Ohio, USA, came to Jasper in 1892. He was granted a patent for a homestead (1911). In 1913 the homestead was subdivided into lots for summmer homes. The summer resort was called Swiftholm and this brochure was published to promote the sale of lots. The project fell through and no lots were sold.
