Studio portrait of local pioneer Aaron Anderson. Mr. Anderson was born in Dalsland, Sweden on April 16, 1853. He immigrated to the United States and eventually came to Canada in 1900, where he worked for the C.P.R. as a car repairman for six years. Mr. Anderson also homesteaded in the Malmo district near Wetaskiwin, Alberta and was one of the oldest residents in that area when he passed away at the age of 94 on November 3, 1941.<br><br>
