Photograph of "Canadusa", Originally owned by Lamson & Hubbard. Lamson & Hubbard was one of the largest buyers of raw furs in the United States. The firm moved into the Athabasca and Mackenzie River Districts in 1918 and set up a transportation system to rival the Hudson's Bay Company's. In 1921 these transportation activities evolved into the Alberta and Arctic Transportation Company which employed Romanet as an agent.<br><br>
