General note

View of the front of the main building of the Alberta Provincial Training Hospital in Red Deer, Alberta. The building had originally been built for the Alberta Ladies College of Red Deer; it was then purchased by the Province of Alberta in 1916 and used as a soldiers' convalescence home before being turned into a hospital for the mentally disabled. The original elaborate facade and portico were taken off the building in the early 1930s<br><br>
