View of a model of Fort Normandeau built by Kerry Wood, local author and naturalist, for a float for the fair parade in Red Deer, Alberta. This model became the proto-type for the later development of Fort Normandeau Park. Fort Normandeau was one of three military forts established between Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta during the course of the Northwest Rebellion in 1885<br><br>
