General note

Mr. Edward (Ted) Abram with daughters Peggy (age 4 1/2) and Nora (age 2 1/2). The girls are riding in pack boxes on a packhorse. Also in the photo is Mrs. Mabel Christensen the chalet supervisor who later became a teacher at the Jasper School. This picture and the story of how Mr. and Mrs. Abram took their children on a trail trip, was published in 1927 on the front page of the New York Times.<br><br>
