General note
Arthur and his wife Maude Eleanor Ashton arrived in 1913 to run the CN restaurant known as the Beanery. The couple had four children; Dorothy, Roy, Harley and Ruth. Sadly, Dorothy died at a young age while her brother Roy went on to marry Anne Clegg and have two children. Harley Webb joined the army and upon returning to Jasper married Edith Garratt and began a career with Parks. Harley was busy with the Kiwanis Club and the Masonic Lodge while Edith held various jobs, helped the Seton Hospital Women's Auxiliary, and looked after their son James. Ruth Webb married Albert Brain and had two children.
