General note
Published in the Calgary Herald, October 19, 1973. Kelwood Corporation planned to develop Lake Bonaventure, after the success of its Lake Bonavista residential area, which was the first subdivision built with its own lake. Water is fed from Fish Creek, with the permission of the Provincial Department of the Environment. The line on the image represents where procedures to create the lake were already underway, and the smaller interior ring is a planned island, much like one in Lake Bonavista.
