General note
Published in the Calgary Herald, May 27, 1970. Pollution is feared by Alderman John Kushner and Darwin Cronkhite of the Fish and Game Association. They are investigating oil wastes stored in a pit adjacent to Canadian Pacific Railway's Ogden shops. Fears are that the oil may seep into the city's water table. Canadian Pacific responded by saying that they were unobliged to act differently, until the City changes its air pollution laws.
