The item consists of a photograph of an aerial view of the Calgary Board of Education Centres;photograph was taken from the air at 6th Avenue and Macleod Trail, S.E., Calgary;Stamped in black on the verso is "Property of City Clerk, Oct 1/70, EB, Kindly Return;photograph appears to have been taken duing the spring or summer of 1970;Written in pencil on the verso "School Education Centres;Other buildings of note in this photo include Cathedral Church of the Redeemer, Fire Hall No. 1, part of the NW Traveller's Building, the Cecil Hotel, and the various buildings which were replaced by Rocky Mountain Plaza. The Bow River, Langevin Bridge are also in view, as well as construction of the YWCA
