Across the road from the Webster Store & Post Office was the Butcher Shop operated by the Wrosek family. By 1947, the Butcher shop had closed and it was being used as rented living quarters. Edna Kokosha, the supervisor at Torun School, lived in the back part of this building.
Webster Store and Post Office was operated by the Hancharuk family. In the back was the family living quarters, and often the teacher for Torun School boarded at the Hancharuks. Beside the store was a storage shed.
