The records provide evidence of the Edmonton operation of LaFlèche Bros. as well as the business' Calgary and Vancouver branches.

There is also a variety of promotional records including print advertisements and newspaper articles, promotional letters, advertisement proofs, radio spot recordings, and metal templates. There is also a series of records relating to the company's 2005-2006 centennial.

The fonds also contains records related to other interests of various members of the LaFlèche family. These include records from J. A. LaFlèche's other business ventures including Claynett Limited, Beauharnois Power Corporation, Limited, and La-Van-Co Limited. There is also records of the Edmonton Optimist Club from Louis F. LaFlèche's 1943 term as club President. There is a few files of Mae E. LaFlèche's personal records.

The fonds consists of an album of Byron-May photographs. Many of the photographs were part of their business, including commissioned images.
The album also includes photographs of the Percy Byron and Gustave May families.

The fonds consists of memorabilia of the Ross family, including a marriage announcement, certificates, a button, and newspaper clippings. Also included are the records of the Ross Brothers store, which consist of account and receipts books.

Asset Ledgers (1955-82), Customer Ledger (1950-60), Accounts Payable Ledger (1929-59); images of various scenes at Alberta Foundry and Machine Co., Canadian Farm Implements, Connaught School, and Sarnia Ranch ; scrapbook containing 14 images of the Alberta Foundry and Machine Company operation (ca. 1940).

The fonds consists of: Materials coming from matriarch of Altaglass Margarete Stagg including promotional and sales materials, correspondence, newspaper clippings, order forms, guest registers, and photographs; research materials from author Mary Coward including approximately 600 images; and Altaglass business records including reference images, various business records including customer letters, sales slips, receipts, invoices, ledger pages, correspondence with suppliers, and certificates.

The reels of ¼ inch audiotape are mostly musical, news, and comedy programs that aired on CHAT Radio, as well as recorded speeches from two local Kinsmen Club Sportsman’s Dinners, advertisements, and two interviews.
The 8-track, compact, and digital audiocassettes also contain musical, news, and comedy programs from CHAT Radio, along with a number of local advertisements.
Also contains ca. 1970 portraits of on-air and administrative personnel, as well as early photographs of promotions.

The fonds consists of approximately 34 linear metres (20,707 dockets) of photographic materials, each docket containing the negatives, and some proofs, of almost every photographic session or job undertaken by Freelance Photography. These include family portraits, wedding photos, graduation and other school pictures, photography for various clubs and organizations, and commercial and industrial sites.
There are three card catalogues, one covering images taken from 1959-1961, another for 1962 to 1964, and one for those from 1978-1991. The interim period is arranged by category (portrait, commercial, etc.) and within is arranged alphabetically.
Also included is a selection of newspaper advertisements and brochures for Freelance Photos Ltd., a small selection of brochures and booklets which were produced using images taken by Freelance. Also included are annual financial statements for the years 1960 to 1977.
There are four series based on ownership, time period, and original arrangement. Series 3 consists of 5 sub-series.
