Items consist of one copy negative and original copy print of the falls and power plant. Title is taken from the subject matter of the photograph;Taken by W. J. Oliver while under contract with the city;Shows building, spill way, and some derbis in the foreground on the bank;William John Oliver was born in England in 1887. In 1911 he began working for the Albertan and in 1912 opened the W. J. Oliver Photographic Studio. He also joined the Calgary Herald as staff photographer. William sold the studio in 1942.
