Includes records of her father, John H. Comfort, and her sister, Mary Reist.

The original manuscript, along with all other records of the Sylvan Lake Women's Institute, were destroyed in a house fire.

(Ethel) Morrisroe that give details of her involvement in various Women's Institutes in Central Alberta, including the Alberta Women's Institute, Federated Women's Institute and Associated Country Women of the World organizations. Ethel Morrisroe was Vice-President of the Alberta Women's Institute in 1969 -- 1973 and President from 1973 - 1975. The fonds include handbooks and conference booklets the Women's Institute organizations, personal artifacts, including anniversary cards and invitations, personal notes, parts of a scrapbook, and blank Women's Institute cards, and a large assortment of photographs, newspaper clippings and a history book.
