The sous-fonds consists of census records, insurance records, municipal agreements such as expropriations and utility rates, files on special promotional events which have occurred in the City of Grande Prairie, and the contents of a 1962 time capsule from the cornerstone of City Hall. Two maps outline the fire fighting agreement between the City and County of Grande Prairie. Photographs are of special events in the city, such as prime ministerial and royal visits and the Canada Winter Games.
The sous-fonds consists of Accounting records and Assessment/Taxation records. Under Accounting there are financial statements, Department of Municipal Affairs statistics, and a series of over-sized ledgers: Town Cash Book Receipts, Town Cash Book Expenditures, Journal Entries and Debenture Register. The Assessment/Taxation records include assessment cards, assessment and tax rolls, tax collection ledgers and documents for tax recovery of unpaid taxes.
The sous-fonds consists of the Minutes and By-laws of the Village, Town and City of Grande Prairie as well as photographs of mayors and aldermen from 1957 to 1983.
The fonds consists of the records of the Municipal District of Bear Lake from 1912 to 1944. These records include by-laws and minutes, financial statements, Alberta Gazettes showing tax sales, miscellaneous financial records, a town plan of Lake Saskatoon, and a land ownership map. The fonds is divided into three series: Minutes, Financial Management, and Maps and Plans.
