Pivert, Roland

Early Life

The series consists of personal papers dating from Roland’s teen-age years in boy scouts and at St. Joseph’s High School. The records include letters from Gerald Gardner, a penpal from Mississippi, Flying Shot Lake Boy Scouts Troop certificate and booklets, two issues of St. Joseph’s Troubador, one of which tells the story of the death of Shirley Miller, photographs and negatives taken during Roland’s time at St. Joseph’s High School, including the Student Council and several of friends, two images in frames decorated with silk, and a collection of religious cards and artwork, likely assembled primarily when Roland was a child.

The records have been arranged by the Archivist according to topic and type.
