Programs include events for music festivals and events held in Edmonton by the First Presbyterian Church, the Jubilee Auditorium, McDougall United Church, and the Edmonton Inauguration. Pamphlets cover such topics as temperance and the Canadian Manufacturing Association. The photographs depict McDougall Church classes, McKay Avenue School, Victoria High School, and others.

The collection consists of photographs, some original and some copies, of subjects from the Drayton Valley area. The original images were taken by Loosmore of sites in Drayton Valley and beyond in the 1980s and 1990s while the copies are negatives taken of original photographs that pre-date the originals, ranging from the early 20th century to the 1960s. These images were borrowed from their owners by Loosmore for use in his book, To Trail’s End: Early Settlement in Drayton Valley.
