The fonds consists of the following topics: Lawrence Rye, moving reindeer by train, building Highway 2 in 1925, aboriginal pilgrimage to Lac St. Anne, Perryvale (Lewiston) , Lewiston School, Miss Howlett, wild game, Sandy Creek, Athabasca Landing Trail, Rein family, scows, grain elevators and medical doctors.
The fonds consists of the minute book for May, 1927 to March, 1949; and correspondence for 1937 to 1938 which includes the 1937 report of school superintendent Mr. Kostash. Correspndence for 1938 to 1943 has evidence of Rochester East School as part of the Pembina School District #37 and includes 1939, 1940 and 1942 superintendent's reports. Correspondence from 1943 onward has evidence of Rochester East School as part of the Athabasca School District #42. Financial records cover 1937-1946. Also included are the 1931 Alberta School Act with amendments for 1935, 1938 and 1939 and addresses from the 1944 Alberta School Trustees Association convention. An undated Rochester East School District voters list for electing trustees completes the collection. The artifact is the Rochester East School District stamp and ink pad.

The fonds consists of a book entitled: Sisters of Providence of St.Vincent de Paul by Sister Mary Electa in 1961; ideas for the redesign of the Lessard house floor plan to accommodate 23-30 students, photocopied pictures of the first group of girls at Rosary Academy in Sept.1948, and pictures of the Home for the Aged and Chronically Ill. There are also photographs of the sisters who served in these two capacities.

The artifact is the official school stamp. The photograph is of the United Church Women's group of the area. There is a two page history of the church and the school.

The fonds consists of the Athabasca Brigade 1997 Log Book and Trip Guide and a letter of thanks sent to camp hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Mike and Darlene Zelman. The log book holds GPS readings for locations on the Athabasca River. There is a good description of the Grand Rapids portage trail.
The fonds consists of a letter of tribute from the people of the George Lake School District to Mrs. Silverthorn in 1952; a Certificate of Qualification, Physical Training - Grade "B", 1924, and 11 Department of Education, Alberta Reports of Inspector or Superintendent of Schools from the year 1933 to 1951 (with several reports missing from the time span); and her Life Membership with Alberta Teacher's Association, 1952.
