The fonds consists of an album that was presented to T.J. Turnbull upon his retirement in 1934. It contains informal portraits of 40 sergeants, warrant officers, and commissioned officers, and their farewell messages.

The fonds includes Gordon Craig's documents while he was a prisoner of war at Stendal, Germany. Includes an album consisting mostly of postcard photographs of fellow prisoners. Includes a note indicating that Craig was bayonetted while carrying Maj Stanley Jones off the battlefield. Includes a presumed high school graduation portrait of Gordon Craig; and album pages showing Gordon with his friends, and training at Niagara-on-the-Lake with the 1st University Company. Includes a letter, Clifford T. Jones (brother of Maj Stanley L. Jones) to William McSpadden expressing appreciation for Craig's kindness to Stanley Jones while in prison camp.

The fonds consists of three albums of ceremonial events of the 1st Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (1PPCLI). C60-20.1 depicts the Presentation of Colours to the Battalion in 1977. C60-20.2 and C60-22.1, which are nearly identical albums, depict 1PPCLI's Trooping of the Colour ceremony in 1980.

The fonds contains a copy of the Militia Act of Great Britain (1786) from Gardner's library; his Warrant (1939); his demobilization letter (1945); a transcribed poem; and a menu from the Sir Winston Spencer Churchill Society (Calgary) annual memorial dinner (1984). Includes photographs from Gardner's military career which he had framed (1924-1973); and photographs from his retirement collected by Evelyn de Mille (ca. 1980s).

The fonds contains photographs (prints and negatives) of Exercise Sweetbriar and the Korean War (1950-1951); 31 slides illustrating Hub Gray's PPCLI service from 1950 to 1953; 13 photographs of the dedication ceremony of the Radar Hill Memorial, Tofino, BC (1998); and 11 photographs of the Second Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry Trooping (2001). Includes researched reports on the events of the Battle of KapYong; and a copy of Gray's book Beyond the Danger Close.

The fonds documents Charles Petrie's experiences during the Korean War. Includes LCol Jim Stone's Order of the Day at the outset of the 2nd Battalion's deployment (1950 Nov 19); Charles Petrie's account of the Battle of KapYong (1951 Apr 25-26) based on his field notes and diary (1951 Mar 28-May 6); pass and photographs of the opening of armistice talks (1951 Oct 22); menu and magazine from Christmas Day spent in the British Commonwealth Hospital Kure; shipping schedule, Kure-Pusan; newsclippings; photographs; slides; and North Korean propaganda, safe conduct passes, and soldiers' documents.

The fonds consists of copies of 8 pages from Cecil Simpson's notebook containing a chronology of his military service and nominal roll of 6 Platoon; uncaptioned photographs (copied from the original negatives) of Simpson, his wife, comrades, and family members; and copies of two items of French and Canadian currency autographed by Simpson and comrades.

The fonds consists of digital images of Alec Herdy's album relating to his 1980-1983 service in PPCLI (located in the Archives Main Computer, Born-Digital Records folder); a binder documenting course development of the Landmine Facilitator Training program of the Canadian Red Cross, Victoria, BC (ca. 2001-2002); notes on development of the education program at The Military Museums, Calgary, Alberta (2007); a poster produced as a tribute to Sgt William Niel Gow, a bugler with 2PPCLI; compilations of PPCLI wartime records produced for families of Sgt George C.
