Don McGinnis Stephenson collection

The fonds consists of 28 photographs collected by Don Stephenson of a [1927] Edmonton-Athabasca-Peace River Highway motor tour; pictures of Athabasca buildings; and the 1944 flood. The Athabasca buildings include: All Saints Anglican Church, Imperial Bank of Canada, Grand Union Hotel, Municipal Hospital, Public School, and views of Skinner Street and Wood Avenue, Baptiste Lake, ferry, cable cage and grain elevators.

The collection consists of 37 glass plate negatives with matching prints, 11 glass plate negatives without prints and 9 prints without negatives, of a variety of subjects purported to be from east of Edmonton, Alberta dating circa (ca.) 1900 to ca. 1914 including family portraits and portraits of children, buildings, houses, log cabins, parks, a church and cemetery, a baseball game, sleighs, the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) 66th Overseas Battalion, and farm activities such as threshing, ploughing and haying, with some of the agricultural images marked as copyright R. Weaver.

Enticing a Bite of History Cookbook collection

The collection consists of materials documenting George Cormie's career in the poultry industry in Alberta including a Xeroxed copy of a copy pertaining to George Cormie in Canada's Who's Who of the poultry industry, notes of an interview with George M. Cormie taken by J.C. Finlay, the City of Edmonton Archivist, and Alan D. Ridge, the Provincial Archivist of Alberta, and a Xeroxed copy of a point-form biography of George M. Cormie created by J.C. Finlay.

Collection consists of copied photographs depicting various people, buildings, and views in Vegreville, Alberta and the surrounding areas, including log cabins, farming and farm houses, street views, buildings, businesses, agricultural machinery, carriages and carts, livestock, churches, hospitals, houses, residents of boys' homes, schools and school children, automobiles, barns, sports teams, nurses and nurses residences, Boy Scouts, sleighs and sleds, and railroads. The images date from the early 1900's to the early 1970's, predominantly from 1902-1955. Collection also includes a copied newspaper clipping about St. Joseph's Hospital circa 1961.

The collection consists of a copy of "The Cookson Memoirs," which contains photocopies of John W. (Jack) Cookson's diary from his voyage from Liverpool, England to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1890 as well as notes about his early days in Tofield, Alberta. The collection also includes copies of photographs relating to Jack Cookson and the Cookson family in Tofield.
