The file contains correspondence, programs, photocopy surrogates of newspaper clippings, sketches, and photographs accumulated by Irene Prothroe, documenting her early career in the theatre, with a focus on the 1940s-1950s. The file includes a note from her mentor, Maria Alekseyevna Ouspenskaya, which originally accompanied a bouquet of flowers, as well as materials from Irene Prothroe's collaboration with Tom Peacocke in "Widger's Way." The file also includes production notes and a report card.
