Biographical history

The Hudson Ladies Aid Club was formed in 1936 as a women's auxiliary organization of the Knox United Church in Taber. In 1939, the Club changed its name to the Hudson Ladies Club to be more inclusive of all women in the community. The main role of the Club was to raise funds for community projects and sponsor social events.
