Biographical history

In 1955 Foto Bull Studio was opened in Red Deer, Alberta by photographers Wolfram Bull and his wife Ilse Bull. Mr. Bull died in 1957, and his wife continued to run the business. In 1975 Ilse Bull Leader sold the studio to Ken and Diana Stock, who continued to operate it under the old name. In 1991 Rod and June Traptow bought the studio, and it became a division of Traptow Photography Ltd. Eventually the two studios were integrated under the Traptow name

The fonds consists of negatives and some prints depicting businesses, organizations, school graduation ceremonies, buildings, sports teams, public events, etc. in the Red Deer area
