The fonds consists of one scrapbook given to Mr. & Mrs. Ross Dale by friends and neighbours in Silton, Saskatchewan when the family moved from there in 1941.The scrapbooks consists of a program from the dedication of the Silton United Church window honoring the soldiers killed in WWI, the speech given at the Silton Memorial Window unveiling with a write up on each of the soldiers who it was dedicated to - Renwick W.H. Anderson, John & Thomas Ramsay, Eric Waterloo, Raynor Wright, George B. Flavell, W.J. Ross, Lieut. F. Atkinson and Comrade H.H. Williamson.and a financial statement from the church (1928); photographs of the building of the Silton Curling Rink (1936, 1937); Silton curling teams (1938-1941), a set of photographs from Winnipeg Special Operations Aviation Squadron in 1941, signatures, newspaper clippings of friends, family and events mosty in Silton, numerous obituaries, an invitation to the Boyd reunion, a letter from Betty (1980), a marriage certificate of William Norman Dale and Emma Greta Gee (1946) and a brief family history.
