Egbert O. Taylor, 1886-1962, was a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer from 1914 to 1945 at Regina, Saskatchewan, Halifax, Nova Scotia and Calgary and Banff, Alberta, Canada. He subsequently served as magistrate at Banff from 1946 to 1962.
