The interviews in this collection were done by Una Maclean Evans, a Glenbow Archives staff member, who was commissioned to record the memories of pioneers who settled in southeastern Alberta. The interviews include reminiscences about homesteading, ranching, politics, and family life in the area encompassing Brooks, Medicine Hat, Rosebud, Sunnynook, Cessford, and Hanna.

Lymburn, Fred Madge, Augustus Snider McLean, Mrs. Arthur Peake, David Latta "Scotty" Porteous, Lorne Proudfoot, Victor Quelch, Mrs. M.
