Biographical history

Doug Fee, 1944- , trained as a teacher, and became a vice-principal at Innisfail, Alberta. He later worked as an employee relations manager for Manville Canada Inc. He was the Mayor of Innisfail from 1977 to 1988, and Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for Red Deer from 1988 to 1993. He subsequently was General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) of the Canadian Angus Association, based in Regina, Saskatchewan and later at Calgary, Alberta

Scope and content

The collection consists of a photograph of an Orange Lodge parade in Lacombe, Alberta (1932), an information handout and maps of the town of Penhold, Alberta (ca. 1988), an information pamphlet and aerial photographs of C.F.B. Penhold (1989), a video cassette and pamphlet on the Canadian Constitution (1982?), a government report entitled The State of Canada's Environment (1991), a briefing book for the visit to Canada of Queen Margarethe II of Denmark (1991), and the reports to the 11th Danish Canadian Conference (Dickson, Alberta, 1992)
