Biographical history

In 1912 the Guenette family donated a piece of their land, on SW 1/4-65-21-W4, as a site for St. Bruno's Catholic Church. The French-Canadian families in the parish formed an association with goals that included the promotion of the brotherhood of all persons of French-Canadian origin living in the Parish of St. Bruno, keeping the members informed about business and documents like Hansard, and favouring the development of French-Canadian ideals in the youth.
