Biographical history

Beth McNaughton (1907-2005), born Mary Elizabeth Howes in Millet, Alberta, attended Camrose Normal School and Prairie Bible Institute. She taught school in the Millet area and in the Peace River District. In 1939 she married Walter William McNaughton, the Principal of Peace River Bible Institute. They had four children, Malcolm Johnathan, Grace Evangeline, Agnes Ruth (Enns), and David Walter. She was active in numerous community organizations, including the Golden Glow Women's Institute and the Millet & District Historical Society.

The fonds consists of a scrapbook of news and magazine clippings about the Royal Family, collected items of historical interest, and items of personal memorabilia.
