Biographical history

Audio-visual support services began at the Centre in 1971 under the coordination of the Communications Department. In 1979 the Audio-Visual Department was established, gaining responsibility for the photodocumentation of Centre activities. In 1985 the unit was renamed Technical Services. Supervisors and Managers include Eric Richer (1979- 1985) and Ben West (1985-1998). Photographers include Kathleen Watt (1979-1983), Kim Chan (1983-1985), Ed Ellis (1985-1986), Monte Greenshields (1986-1992), and Don Lee (1992-).
