Her father was a carpenter and worked on the Wetaskiwin Court House, which was opened in 1908. Anna learned to play the guitar and violin from her father and took piano lessons. She eventually taught piano in Wetaskiwin from 1917 to 1975. Charles Cook Condie (1890 - 1975) was born in Smith Falls, Ontario. He was a conductor for the Canadian Pacific Railway.
