Biographical history

Alexander Lennie was born in Fort Edmonton in 1897 to William and Dinah (Anderson) Lennie. He married Palma Borstad and they farmed in the Tofield area before moving in 1930 to the Ferguson District, east of Athabasca, AB. They had a family of ten children. Palma died in 1984. Alex died in 1993.

The fonds consists of information on: John Berg, Mr. Biault, Donald Booth, Floyd Calvert, Herb Calvert, Mark Ferguson, Russell Fodchuk, Steve Fodchuk, Gosselin family, Gullion family, Kinikinik Post Office, Kostiw family, Russell Kostyk, Lac La Biche Trail, Lessard's house, Mr. MacDonald, Overacker family, Rennison family, Amber Ross, Bill Ross; Frank, George,Matt and Tim Sauer; Jimmy Service, Al Sharp's blacksmith shop, Charles Shoubridge, Sgt. Herbert Thorne, Dr. Andrew Turnbull, Scott Willey, homesteading, income, machinery, roads-East Hill, and Athabasca. The textual records consist of genealogical information on the Lennie and Anderson families of Fort Edmonton. Mentioned are school districts MacKenzie School No.234 and Summer School No.1668.
