Scope and content

March 30, 1915 Bertha Hodgson and Hedley Wallace McKay were married in Kinistino, Saskatchewan in the Methodist Church.
A group picture taken after the wedding shows some attendees.
Back row: Ernest Bellingham, Mary Hodgson, Lucy Arthur, Melville Arthur, Rev. T.F. Marshall, Mr. Wellwood played the organ.
Middle Row: Hedley McKay, John Hodgson, Bertha (Hodgson) McKay, Daisy Newman, Catherine Arthur (bridesmaid), Fulton Arthur, Lea Hodgson.
Front Row: Bessie Featherstone, Myrtle Purdy.
Coming around the corner: Gilbert Arthur.

Notes on the photograph: "This was a cold miserable day. Gilbert was just recovering from pneumonia and was sent back into the house to put his hat and coat on. The photo was taken as he was returning. Jean and Eva Arthur were not allowed out and were told to pose in the window but then they were blocked by the people posing outside."
Quoted from a page in the family history.
